Xiaomi Pocophone F1 sells over 700,000 devices in 3 months

Xiaomi Global Vice President, Kumar Jain has revealed that the company has sold 700,000 Xiaomi Pocophone F1 units in just over three months.

Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is a budget offering by the company and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and is priced at about $300. It is a high-performance and cost-effective flagship created by Chinese smartphone Xiaomi. The phone has a 6.18-inch screen, 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Cameras wise the phone features a 12MP+5MP dual rear camera set-up and a 20MP selfie shooter. It packs a 4000 mAh battery.

Xiaomi has released a new update for the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 which has brought support for 960fps super slow-motion videos as well as 120fps and 240fps video modes. The 960fps slow motion feature allows users to shoot slow-motion videos and more. The super night scene mode allows users to click 8 photos with different exposure schemes. The Apps section in the Settings menu of the device was also modified. Xiaomi has also announced that it will be adding support for 4K/60fps video recording and HD Netflix support as well.

Xiaomi has also announced a special three-day Poco F1 sale in India, in which the company is offering a discount of Rs 5000 on the device on e-commerce channels Flipkart and Mi.com starting from December 6 to December 8.

The phones base model (6GB RAM+64GB storage) will be available for a special discounted price of Rs 18,999, while the 6GB RAM+128GB variant will be available for Rs 21,999. The 8GB RAM+256GB model is up for grabs for just Rs 25,999 while the special Armoured Edition Poco F1 can be bought for Rs 26,999 only.
