Samsung, which has been facing competition from Chinese smartphone makers like Xiaomi, has announced that it will be launching a Galaxy A-series smartphone every month from March till June in India.
The Galaxy A70 was launched in India in April for Rs. 28,990, and now the company is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A80 with a rotating triple camera system and a full-screen display.
Samsung has recently revealed that it has grabbed the top spot in the premium smartphone market in India, beating Apple and others. However, Samsung continues to face tough competition in the mid-range and lower priced handset range from Chinese smartphone makers. The company currently has a 23% share in the smartphone market in India.

"The pre-booking of the Galaxy A80 is likely to start this month, while the phone may be launched early next month," Singh said but added that the launch date for the phone in India is yet to be finalized.
