Well, the results of its H1 2019 depict so and Huawei feels very proud to announce it. According to Huawei's Chairman, Liang Hua, “operations are smooth and the organization is as sound as ever.”

The company made 221.6 billion yuan ($32.2 billion) in revenue in April-June, a 23% increase over the previous quarter despite its trade war with the US. Huawei said it sold 118M smartphones in the first half of the year, representing a 24% YoY increase.

The report concludes that the real effect of the trade sanction will be in Q3 2019 and shipments in overseas markets are further expected to see a steep decline.

Apart from the smartphone business, Huawei also announced the H1 results for its PC, tablets, and wearables; carriers, and enterprise industry

Liang said,

"Given the foundation we laid in the first half of the year, we continue to see growth even after we were added to the entity list. That's not to say we don't have difficulties ahead. We do, and they may affect the pace of our growth in the short term."
