Nintendo’s Switch console was officially unveiled late last week. The company revealed at that time that the console would be available on March 3. The pre orders for the same started immediately. It’s been just a few days and the device has gone out of stock.
The Nintendo Switch console is either "not available" or listed as "coming soon" or, on some websites, leads to an error page. Retailers including Amazon, GameStop and Toys R Us all have the console listed on their website as unavailable though there are some games and accessories available for preorder. Best Buy and Target currently list the console as 'Coming Soon'. The listing on Walmart's website is inaccessible.
GameStop is currently in talks with Nintendo to get additional Nintendo Switch units. The retailer has advised its would-be buyers to sign up for email notification so that they can be notified whenever the unit is back in stock.
The gaming console will go on sale in most of the European countries including UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, South Africa, US and Russia on March 3 at a price of $299.
