Meizu unveiled their newest firmware Flyme 6 globally on a beta testing scale, back in November, along with which the company’s flagship Meizu Pro 6 Plus was launched.
In the recent months, Meizu has rolled a lot many beta updates to the latest firmware which always brought us to question whether the company is looking forward to releasing the stable version of it’s much talked about Flyme 6. In a recent blog post concerning the same, the developers in the community have claimed that they’d soon be releasing the first stable build towards Flyme 6 by the start of July which would first be ported to the M3 Note.
The release of the stable build is soon to be followed by updates to the M2, MX5, PRO5, MX4, MX4Pro, PRO6, M3s, MX6, U10, U20, M3E, M3Max, PRO6Plus, M1Note and M2Note. Meizu says the update for the M5, M5s & M5 Note would take a while since the devices are new to the market. The company also states that the process of bringing a stable build of the Flyme 6 would only be possible once the operating system is developed through a Closed Beta, an Open Beta stage before its Official Release.
When is Flyme 6 Stable going to release officially?”. Here’s the short answer: It all goes back to that “Created Together” belief we hold close to our heart. We want to make sure that every feature, tweak, and addition to Flyme 6 passes the ultimate test: the scrutiny of, well, you. Thus keeping in account the current status of the firmware, we will start rolling out a stable version of Flyme 6 from July. The models will receive updates one by one, beginning with M3 Note, M2 followed by the rest of the devices(MX4, MX4Pro, M1Note, M2Note, MX5, PRO5, PRO6, M3s, MX6, U10, U20, M3E, M3Max, PRO6Plus). M5, M5s and M5 Note the update will be release later since these 3 models are relatively new in the market.

Is Flyme limited only to Meizu devices? I would like it for third-party phone brands too. Flyme rocks to me.
Mostly these customized OS versions are offered by the respective phones for their own brands only. But still, there official and unofficial ports are also available for other brands too.
Meizu fans, like me, have been waiting for getting the stable version of Flyme 6. At least the announcement has been made. So, looking forward.
Still, it's a long way to go until July now. But the positive thing is that at least I now know when the final version will come out.
