Microsoft OneNote app updated with search feature

15 April 2019 2

Microsoft OneNote vice president Laura Butler previously confirmed the presence of the upcoming Dark Mode and improved navigation and now in the latest development, the Android version of the app has a new update. The update version v16.0.11328.20178 and offers better search integration.

This feature was previously rolled out in the beta version of the app about a month ago and makes searching for a particular string easier in all the list of the notes you have. Now with this very update, the feature is now made public for everyone to make the most out of it. How often does it happen that you’re willing to search a particular note and you don’t remember the title of it, but instead you remember its contents to some extent.

With this feature, you’d be able to search the contents of the notes which would give you a better chance to look up for a particular note. The update is currently out for Android version which you could download from the Google Play Store listing. Have you tried out the update? Share your experience in the comment section below.

Yup, with so much written down, both in the title and in the actual notes, it's next to impossible to remember that exact thing we are searching for. I hope this will be a handy feature to forgetful people like me :D :D
