Minecraft AR version teased at Build 2019 by Microsoft

07 May 2019 4

Looks like Microsoft has a surprise up its sleeves. The company has just posted a brief teaser of Minecraft AR game which says that the game would be announced on May 17 on Minecraft.net

In the teaser video, the game looks similar to other AR games like Pokemon go which can be played in a blend of virtual and real-world elements. Interestingly, not many games have been able to utilize the true potential of Augmented reality apart from Pokemon Go, which has been downloaded over 500 Million times.

Interestingly this game is being released on the 10-anniversary of Minecraft game. The game was earlier shown with Holo Lens back in 2015, this teaser which shows that the game doesn’t need these headsets any more suggests that there could be much more on May 17. The company hasn’t revealed any more details about the game as of now.

The Minecraft universe is not restricted to Pokemon GO. That's why it will be better. I also have a chance to experience the game on techbigs.
