Double tap to wake is a feature that each and every user must have on their smartphone. Unfortunately, little older devices don't have that feature, but most of them could get this feature via a special update, one such device is Lumia 650. The company started to roll-out the update for some units packing the ‘Double tap feature’ last week.

Reports indicate that more and more Lumia 650 users are seeing the latest update in their devices. The latest update packs build number 01078.00042.16352.50xxx. Other than the double tap feature, the update packs the following changes to both Lumia 650 and 550:

• Wi-Fi connectivity improvements, including fixes for Wi-Fi connection dropping randomly and Wi-Fi, scan occasionally not returning any results.
• Bluetooth connectivity improvements.
• Stability and reliability improvements.
• Camera improvements, including improved image and video quality, improved Auto-focus and fix a problem that was causing slow motion capture to skip frames for some users.
• Cellular connectivity improvements, including a fix for a problem that caused occasional network loss for some users.
• Audio quality improvements, including a fix for a problem that caused the voice call audio to get scrambled for some users.

Navigate to Settings > Update & security > Phone update > Check for updates from your Lumia 650 to check whether your device is ready to receive the update, or else you can wait for a push notification that appears on your device screen.
