Microsoft has decided to roll out a Holiday Update for the Xbox community across the Xbox One, PC and mobile platforms that'll help get it more communal. The update will make easier for the user to find friends, find games and even communicate using emojis.
Looking for group (LFG) for Xbox will let gamers find people to complete quests, achievements, and other activities by posting on the Xbox Live. Other users can find this post as a forum post and start a party chat and even play the required game. This will help the user avoid other LFG sites and save the inbox from lots of messages.
The second biggest feature is the rollout of 'Clubs,' that are designed to be created by anyone on Xbox Live. Any of the users can create a unique-named group just like a unique gamertag. Basically, they are the Microsoft's version of clans.
The gamerscore leaderboards are now reset weekly instead of monthly, giving the score-hounds more strategic options whilst planning their attacks. Another feature called 'Achievement Rarity' is added as well, that tells the percent of players who have played the game and have that same achievement.
