Microsoft has had a rollercoaster ride with their creators update for their Windows users so far but the same can’t be said about their Mobile counterparts. Earlier last month it was decided that the new Mobile Creators Update would only be made available for 13 devices which the company did when it launched the Windows 10 Mobile Creators update for users in the Release Preview Ring along with a similar update for its PCs.
From what it looks like, Microsoft seems to have brought in a way for the creator's update to support a bunch of other Windows 10 phones which include its own Lumia 550, Lumia 950 XL and HP’s Elite x3. All compatible phones need to be unlocked first before being hit upon with the update as it doesn’t seem to work on phones locked to T-Mobile and AT&T.
The update would allow users to purchase ebooks from the Windows Store which could later be read on the Edge Browser though it misses out on the much anticipated Night Mode and Continuum addons that were earlier promised. If you haven’t yet updated your device to a Creators Update or if you’ve lost support after an outdated system, make sure you check out the latest segment in the Mobile Creators Update.
