After a bunch of leaks in the last couple of days, the Motorola P30 has finally been made official in China. It is a mid-range offering from Lenovo-owned Motorola and can be mistaken for an iPhone X in the first look. It is an identical copy of the Apple's most premium iPhone in terms of design from both the front and back panel.
The Motorola P30 sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (2246 x 1080 pixel) display with a significantly larger notch at the top and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor which is the latest one aimed at mid-rangers. There is 6GB of RAM with an option to choose from 64GB or 128GB internal storage. It further offers microSD slot if you wish to increase the total storage space.
In the camera department, it has a 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual camera setup on the back along with a 12-megapixel selfie camera. Motorola is touting AI capabilities for both these sensors including the ability to capture portrait mode shots. The whole package is powered by a 3000mAh battery and is running Android 8.1 Oreo. It also has a fingerprint scanner placed on the back panel.
If interested, the Motorola P30 is priced at CNY 2099 and CNY 2499 for the 64GB and 128GB models respectively. These have been made available in Bright Black, Aurora, and Ice Jade White color variants. There are no words on the release of Motorola P30 Plus and P30 Play yet.
