Motorola's Moto G has been its best-selling smartphone series since it entered the Android smartphone market about five years ago. It has improved the same with each passing year and Moto G generation with the latest ones being Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play. These phones are unveiled earlier this year in Brazil and now, we are hearing first rumors about the next generation.
The report is coming from an Indian publication MySmartPrice citing a couple of brand logos it has obtained from one of its sources. These logos are for the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus smartphones which will be used for marketing these phones and on the retail boxes once they will get official.
As you can see that the logos do look similar to what Motorola has been using to promote Moto G series phones in recent times. The report further mentions that the new Moto G7 series will be made official in either Q1 or Q2 2019. This is also in line with the Moto G6 launch time. But the most interesting part of the report is that it claims that there will not be a Moto G7 Play offering this time. This speculation is based on the fact there was no Moto G7 Play logo but we will have to wait and see if it actually turns out to be true.
There are no words on the specifications or features yet but we can expect Motorola to offer some of the high-end ones. With the Moto G6 series, it added features like 18:9 displays and glass body.
