From past few weeks, we have been hearing rumors that Motorola is working on a number of lineups for early next year. The company is expected to release G7 and G7 Plus in early 2019 and also the Moto Z4 as flagship offering. Today a well-known Motorola tipster reveals few key details regarding the internal hardware of the upcoming Moto G7 lineup and Z4. He reveals what to expect in terms of chipset, storage, and RAM.
As per the leak, the Moto G7 will be running on the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4GB RAM and built-in storage will be 32GB. The Plus variant will have a better chipset from Snapdragon 700 series. So far Qualcomm only announced Snapdragon 710, So most likely the G7 Plus will have Snapdragon 710 chipset under the hood. The base variant will have 4GB RAM with 64GB storage whereas the top of the line variant will have 6GB RAM.
This year Moto Z3 was a bit disappointing as far as hardware is a concern. The Z3 was out when OEMs were bringing Snapdragon 845 chipset driven phones but the company opted older Snapdragon 835. We can expect Motorola will not repeat this mistake again instead it will bring Z4 with the upcoming Snapdragon 8150 chipset. The device will have 6GB RAM with either 64GB or 128GB native storage.
From what we heard so far the Moto G7 lineup will have the latest waterdrop notch display. Recently the FCC listing suggests the G7 lights will be kept on by a 2,820mAh battery cell. The Moto G7 Plus will have a slightly larger 3,500mAh battery cell. Both the G7 lineup phones are expected with dual rear sensors
