Moto camera 2 app updated with live filters, kelvin temperature and more

15 February 2019 2

Motorola smartphones are considered to be one of the best especially when it comes to the rear camera setup. This is partly a result of the hardware and also a great part is played by the Moto camera app that consistently gets updated with new features and improvements. Previously, the app got new features like portrait mode designed for selfies or watermarking to protect against content theft.

Now in the latest development, the app is updated with new filters and work lives. It also adds Leveler UI across all Moto devices, which helps to align photos better throughout all the Moto devices even quite old ones from the past. Then we’ll also have AR filters that would be available via Google Lens app.

Another interesting addition is the ability to put the camera persistently into the manual mode. Likewise, we have a Kelvin temperature feature that helps with the white balancing of photos. Apart from these, the app fixes various underlying bugs improving upon performance.

You can grab the update for your Moto Camera app from Google Play store just like how you’d update any of your other apps on the phone by heading over to My Apps & Games section and updates.
