Moto E6 new leak reveals complete hardware specs ahead of the launch

From the look of the things, the Lenovo owned Motorola is getting ready to update the budget-friendly E-lineup. Last year Motorola launched E5 lineup in Q2 2018. Now it seems like the sixth gen of E-lineup is inching closer. The E-lineup phones from Motorola are known for their great value for money. As per the latest tweet from @MishaalRahman of XDA Developers, the company is getting ready to unveil the E6. He reveals key details regarding the specs sheet.

The Moto E6 internal codename is “Surfna”. According to the tipster, the device is featuring a 5.45-inches display with HD+ screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The display aspect ratio is 2:1 which means you will be getting thinner bezel at the top and bottom of the display. It won't have notch design instead it will have thin bezels design.

Under the hood, the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 chipset is powering the phone. The device is available in two configurations with 2GB RAM and either 16GB or 32GB storage. The rear side is adorned with a single snapper of 13MP with f/2.0 aperture whereas the front-facing selfie snapper is 5MP with f/2.0 aperture. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie straight out of the box with thin UI skin over it.

Like its predecessor, the Moto E6 will be available from a number of carriers. The device is expected to be available at $150. Considering the specs sheet and pricing the Moto E6 will face stiff competition from Chinese rivals which are bringing superior specs at almost the same prices.

The specs described do make it evident that the new E6 is going to be another generation of budget phones. Not for power users, but still great if you don't expect much out of your phone.
