Motorola One Action specs revealed by Android Enterprise listing

22 July 2019 0

The Motorola One Action is set to be the next Motorola One-series smartphone as it has already appeared in a number of leaks. And now, it has been spotted on Google Play Console and Android Enterprise Recommended devices websites. These listings not only confirm the existence of the device but also hint towards an imminent launch.

The listings corroborate previously rumored Motorola One Action specifications. It means it is confirmed to be the second Exynos-powered smartphone from Motorola. It is listed with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2520 x 1080 pixels) tall display with 21:9 aspect ratio like the currently available Motorola One Vision. Even many other specifications are the same except for the camera department.

The underlying processor is said to be Exynos 9609 which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is 128GB of onboard storage with no details on whether there will be configuration options. It will be running Android 9 Pie out of the box and since it is an Android One device, it will offer benefits like software upgrade promise for up to two years. It is also listed with NFC connectivity which means it should work with mobile payment systems like Google Pay.

The Motorola One Action will be coming with triple rear cameras as compared to dual cameras on the Vision. This is likely to be the biggest difference between the two smartphones. The rear camera also has a "117-degree Action Cam" branding which should be talked about at length during the launch.

Other than the Action model, Motorola is rumored to be working on Motorola One Pro and Motorola One Macro smartphones. It seems like we will be seeing a number of Android One smartphones from the company.
