Motorola appears to be having a new mid-range smartphone in works and going by the leaks it could be the One Macro device with macro video/photo capabilities. Folks over at XDA Developers state that their source has shared an alleged live image of the device and a few key details can be carved out from it.
Only the front side of the alleged Motorola One Macro has been shared and the waterdrop notch accommodating the selfie camera is so visible. The purple-colored volume rocker and the power button are also housed on the right side of the phone. Also, there are rounded corners and a large bottom bezel. It’s unknown what the device has to offer on its rear side, so we can’t tell how many cameras it actually possesses. Also, other details can’t be judged at this time, but a Geekbench listing of the aforementioned device has appeared and it unravels some of the details that you might be interested in knowing.
According to the listing, the device has an octa-core processor clocked at 1.99GHz, the name of the SoC is MT6771 which is the Helio P60. It runs the Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
The Helio P60 processor powers mid-range devices and is one of the best-sellers by MediaTek. It’s a 64-bit ARM LTE chipset with Mali—G72 MP3 GPU, fabricated with the help of 12nm production process.
Majority of specifications of the Motorola One Macro are unknown but going by what the MediaTek Helio P60 supports we can expect dual rear cameras. Helio P60 supports 24MP 24MP+16MP dual-camera and 32MP single-camera. So, we could expect a configuration near to it. Also, expect to have UFS 2.1 storage and support of around up to 8GB RAM.
The Realm 3i is the recently-launched smartphone in India that is powered by Helio P60 SoC. Oppo F9 Pro and Nokia 5.1 are other devices powered by the Helio P60 processor.
