Motorola has been working on its One-series of smartphones since the beginning of the year. It has released various phones including the most recent One Zoom. And now, it is preparing for the launch of a new model likely to be called Motorola One Macro. It was recently spotted on Geekbench and now, a Saudi Arabia-based online retailer Extra ended up accidentally listing the phone.
As reported by GSMArena, the listing was taken down later but the time period was enough to capture a screenshot of the product image as well as check out a few specifications. The Moto One Macro seems to a smartphone that will be focused on the macro shot capturing capabilities. It is expected to come with a 2-megapixel macro sensor along with a 13-megapixel primary camera and another 2-megapixel depth camera. It means there will be a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash on the back panel.
The leaked render shows the Moto One Macro with a notched display where the notch style is like a small dot. It has slim bezels on the side but the bottom bezel is relatively bigger. The back panel has a fingerprint scanner which is expected to be housed within the Motorola logo. The particular listing was for the 2GB RAM variant priced at SAR 899 i.e. about $240. We can expect Motorola to release multiple variants and as for the pricing, it does seem reasonable but we will suggest you wait for the time being.
The recently Geekbench listing revealed that the Motorola One Macro is likely to come with the MediaTek Helio P60 processor clocked at 1.99GHz. It was listed running Android 9 Pie which should be the Android version it should boot right out of the box. At the moment, it is turning out to be a budget mid-range smartphone with a focus on macro shots.
