Motorola has scheduled an event for next in Brazil where it is expected to announce new smartphones. We talked about Moto G8 Plus leak only two days ago and now, it is time for leaks related to Moto G8, Moto G8 Play, and Moto E6 Play. All these phones are likely to go official at the next week's event as part of Motorola's smartphone lineup for 2020.
The Moto G8 has a design identical to the Moto G8 Plus leaked earlier this week. Both the phones look exactly the same including the rear camera module design and alignment. The only difference is that the Plus has triple cameras and the Moto G8 has only dual cameras. The technical details are unknown but one of the sensors is set to be an 117-degree wide-angle one. Another difference is in the notch design is slightly curved on the Moto G8.
Next up, Moto G8 Play has already made its way to the hands of some people in Brazil. It is the reason hands-on images have surfaced online showing what the device looks like in real. It will be the most affordable phone in the Moto G8 family and in terms of design, it is exactly the same as the standard Moto G8.
The front panel has a pre-applied protective film with key specifications/features printed on it. The Moto G8 Play sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display and has an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support. It has a 117-degree wide-angle rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
Lastly, the budget smartphone Moto E6 Play has also leaked ahead of the official unveiling. The phone has a traditional design with bigger top and bottom bezels. It also means that there is neither a notch nor punch-hole for the front camera. The back panel has a single rear shooter with LED flash. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that resides within the Motorola logo. It will be joining the Moto E6 and Moto E6 Plus as the cheapest offering in the lineup.
