Motorola's first pop-up phone to be called One Hyper

23 October 2019 0

In the past few weeks, we have heard about a mysterious Motorola phone sporting a full-screen display with no notch, no punch-hole. A most recent leak showed off the device with a pop-up camera which will be a first for the brand. And now, it is time for a new leak mentioning that Motorola's first pop-up camera smartphone will apparently be called Motorola One Hyper.

This piece of information has been shared by Mishaal Rahman, Editor-in-Chief at XDA Developers. He tweeted that the Motorola One Hyper is a smartphone with model number XT2027-1. It is said to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and run the latest Android 10 out of the box. Since these specifications match the ones reported for the mysterious pop-up camera phone, these two are expected to be the same phone.

If this is true, the Motorola One Hyper will sport a 6.39-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) LCD IPS display. It will offer a full-screen viewing experience with bare minimum bezels and no notch or punch-hole to distract you. There will be 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage but we could see more configuration options.

It will have triple cameras on the back starring a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture. The other two cameras will include an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an unspecified depth sensor. The pop-up front camera is expected to be a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The whole package will be powered by a 3,500mAh battery. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the back with an LED ring around it that lights up. There have been no leaks about the pricing and release date but we will keep you updated on the same.
