It has been a couple of weeks since Motorola launched Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play in Brazil. It did not say anything about the standard Moto G8 but it seems like the launch or at least an official announcement is just around the corner. Evan Blass aka evleaks, a reliable tipster, has tweeted a Moto G8 promotional video clip that gives a good look at the phone's design and color variants.
The alleged Moto G8 has a design exactly the same as the Moto G8 Play. It has a waterdrop-styled notch on the front panel and a triple camera setup on the back. The camera module alignment is also the same where the main 48-megapixel camera is at the top and the other two sensors are placed together. It is not confirmed but these can be wide-angle and depth sensors.
The back panel also has the signature Motorola logo dimple in the center. There is a good chance that it will double up as a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. It has a power button and volume rockers on the right side. In one of the video shots, we can see a glimpse of what looks like a USB Type-C port. Lastly, the Moto G8 is shown in Blue, Red, and Black color variants.
There are no details about Moto G8 specifications yet. It is safe to assume that its spec sheet will be somewhere in the middle of what Motorola offered with the Plus and Play variants.
