Motorola has focused solely on releasing Android smartphones in the past few years but going forward, it seems to be interested in exploring the tablet market as well. As reported by MySmartPrice, Motorola is working on an Android tablet that will likely be called Moto Tab G20 once it becomes available. It spotted a Google Play Console listing for the product that also shed some light on specifications.
The listing reveals that the alleged Moto Tab G20 sports a display with 1200 x 800 pixels resolution and 240PPI pixel density. It does not mention the display size but we can speculate it to be around 8-inches. The choice of processor is listed as the MediaTek MT8768A which is commercially known as the MediaTek Helio P22T. There is a PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 3GB of RAM which would not be surprising if it is the only configuration available.
The tablet is said to ship with Android 11 which is the latest stable Android version available out there. It is true that Google is getting closer to announcing Android 12 in the coming weeks but considering how tablet updates go, we can say that Motorola has a good head start. This is pretty much what has been revealed by the Google Play Console listing so far.
There have been speculations that Moto Tab G20 is nothing but a rebranded Lenovo Tab M8 (3rd gen). This is the one that Lenovo debuted earlier this year during the virtual MWC keynote.
