Motorola has announced a budget Android tablet Moto Tab G20 in India. It has been about a decade since the company launched a tablet which was the Motorola XOOM. The latest release does not offer a powerful spec-sheet or any of the fancy features as it is meant for those who have a very tight budget.
The Moto Tab G20 sports an 8-inch HD+ (1200 x 800 pixels) IPS LCD display with 300 nits of brightness. The panel is supported by TDDI technology for better touch performance. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22T processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB of onboard storage which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 2TB.
The rear camera on the device is a 5-megapixel sensor with autofocus. As for the front camera, there is a 2-megapixel sensor for attending video calls. The whole package is powered by a 5,100mAh battery claimed to last for up to 2 days. The tablet comes bundled with a 10W USB Type-C charger. It will boot the latest Android 11 out of the box and that too without any ads or bloatware.
As for the pricing, you can purchase the Moto Tab G20 for INR 10,999 for the sole 3GB/32GB configuration. Even the color option is just one i.e. Platinum Grey. The tablet will go on sale starting October 2nd exclusively via Flipkart.
