Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is set to launch the Huawei Honor 10 smartphone on May 15 in London. The company has sent out press invites for the launch event of the phone. Rumours about the upcoming phone have been making the rounds for a while, now a leaked poster of the Honor 10 has surfaced on Weibo, which gives a glimpse of the rear design of the phone.
The poster shows the phone in the hands of the popular Chinese actor and singer Hu Ge. The images show the back panel of the phone which looks as if its made out of 3D glass. The device looks similar to the Twilight colour edition of the P20. The rear of the phone doesn’t show a fingerprint panel, so the feature could be in the front.
The Honor 10 is a successor to the Honor 9, which was launched last year. The media invite for the Honor 10 launch event has the caption that reads ‘Beauty in AI’, which hints at the device belonging to the flagship segment. The upcoming smartphone is expected to have a lot of features similar to the Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei P20 smartphones.
The Honor 10 will not have the notch design that has become a trend in a number of flagships launched this year. The phone will reportedly come with horizontal mounted dual rear cameras and will be powered by an in-house Kirin 970 processor. The device is rumoured to have the same camera setup as the P20, but without LEICA branding.
More details, specifications and price of the Huawei Honor 10 will be revealed near its launch date. So stay tuned!
