OPPO had trademarked the “OPPO Find X” moniker last month in April. According to rumours, the upcoming device will be Oppo’s next flagship model. Now renders of the new phone have surfaced online which reveal its sleek design.
Reports suggest that the upcoming device will be the ultimate flagship phone from Oppo. The leaked renders of the device reveal the front and rear design. The alleged OPPO Find X features a notched display similar to the OPPO R15. The upcoming Oppo flagship will have an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone’s side bezels will be almost non-existent, and the bottom bezel is slightly thick. The backside of the Find X features a vertically arranged triple camera setup and an LED flash.
The phone’s fingerprint reader is not visible on the front or rear sides of the Find X. This could mean that the handset could come with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Oppo has recently received a patent approval for an in-display fingerprint scanner. If the alleged Oppo Find X device is coming then the phone may have the advanced biometric recognition technology.
Other rumours, suggest that the handset may come with advanced features such as super-fast 15-minute flash charge and 5x lossless zoom. Oppo which is known for its budget phones with excellent specs has not launched a flagship phone since the OPPO Find 7 smartphone that was unveiled in 2014. According to rumors, Oppo’s upcoming flagship device will be released this year and will be aimed at the high-end market.
Over the past couple of years, a number of rumours about the Oppo Find 9 and Find 11 have surfaced over the past years, however, none of them turned out to be true. We ask our readers to take the news about the Oppo Find X with a pinch of salt, till the device is confirmed by the company.
