Xiaomi Mi TV 4S with 50-inch 4K HDR display launched

Xiaomi has launched yet another Mi TV, which is a brand new variant of the Mi TV 4S. It’s a 50-inch LCD TV with a 4K resolution of 3840x2160 pixels.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is a smart TV powered by a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The TV also supports the PatchWall AI system that curates recommendations based on the users’ behavior or preferences. The AI-based PatchWall offers long hours of content via several partners and suggests content from both online and offline directories.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4S is just another variant, before it, Xiaomi had launched a 32-inch and 55-inch 4S variants.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, three HDMI ports, two USB ports and even one Ethernet port.

The TV is already up for pre-orders at 2399 Yuan, which roughly translates to $500, It will be officially available to purchase starting from May 13 for 2399 Yuan. We are yet to know whether the product will be sold out of China.

Xiaomi has quite a good and big portfolio that includes products of almost every kind. Well, thanks to its arsenal of subsidiaries that have been launching new and innovative products under Xiaomi’s brand. However, the Chinese company, itself, has many different products under it that define its versatility. Xiaomi has earned a good name and fame when it comes to smartphones and its another line of products that are growing at almost the similar frequency are the TVs.

2GB RAM sounds a bit low for a super brand like Xiaomi. But still it's not bad to have it for smart TVs, that don't depend as much as on it as a smartphone would.
