Chinese smartphone company OPPO has announced a new variant of its flagship smartphone R15. The OPPO R15 Nebula Special Edition will make its way on May 19th at the Live For Real Music Festival ( AKA PPO Red and Blue Music Festival).
The new smartphone is designed by the famous designer Karim Rashid for OPPO. It comes with a beautiful Red and Blue color gradient design back panel and pair of a customized version of JBL headsets.
The specifications of Oppo R15 Nebula special edition are, however, exactly the same as of the OPPO R15 only difference being the new gradient color. Let us have a look at the technical specifications of OPPO R15 or OPPO R15 Nebula Special Edition.
The phone boasts a 6.28-inches display with 19:9 aspect ratio with extremely narrow bezels and a 90% screen to body ratio. OPPO has named this as super V-display. The OPPO R15 is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P60 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 1285 GB internal storage.
The R15 runs on Color OS 5.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and comes with dual hybrid sim slots. On the optics side, the R15 Nebula comes with a dual camera setup with the primary 16-megapixel F/1.7 Sony IMX519 Sensor. The camera comes with AI intelligent scene recognition thanks to the built-in dedicated AI-chip. There is a secondary 5-megapixel rear camera for depth sensing. On the front, we have a 20-megapixel camera again supported by AI chip for smart scene recognition.
A 3450 mAH battery powers the R15 Nebula and comes with VOOC Flash Charging to offer 2 hours of talk time with 5 minutes of charge. The phone will be available for 3299 yuan.
