Huawei's subsidiary Honor isn't stopping from unveiling new products. The company today wraps off the cover from a special edition variant of Honor Play. As far as pricing is a concern both the devices will be available via Jingdong, Tmall and other retailers at a price tag of 2,499 ($366). What makes this special edition so special is its striking look with special laser engraved rear.

The company releases a number of teaser photos as well which showcases the device beautiness in full glory. The lines on the rear from top to the bottom looks quite striking. The company even coated the fingerprint scanner with the same color scheme. Apart from external looks, the special edition isn't different from the regular model in terms of specs sheet.

The Honor Play special edition is also featuring a 6.3-inches IPS LCD display with Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Under the hood, the Kirin 970 SoC is powering the device with 6GB RAM and 64GB native storage. On the rear side, you will get dual cameras setup of 16MP+2MP whereas the selfie camera is 16MP. All three cameras are tuned with AI features to enhance the capturing capability of Honor Play. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1 with EMUI 8.2 layer over it. A 3,750mAh battery cell is on board to keep its lights on.
