Surface Go, Microsoft’s low-end option in the Surface line is now available for purchase in the US, Canada. Microsoft has announced the availability via a blog post and also revealed that it will be available later this month in the additional markets.
The base model of the Surface Go is $399 and the basic keyboard adds an extra $100 to it. In its latest blog post, Microsoft writes, “When a 200-employee company uses Surface Pro instead of iPad Pro for teaming, they save more than 72 workdays per year.”
While announcing the availability, Microsoft also puts some reports that are keys to the Surface Go. The 10-inch Microsoft Surface Go is portable and is best suited for the students. The tablet a high-resolution PixelSense Display with 3:2 aspect ratio (1800 x 1200 pixel resolution). It includes a Surface Pen as well with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. It’s powered by the 7th Generation Intel Pentium Gold Processor. It also comes with a front-facing camera with facial recognition login. The tablet includes USB-C 3.1 for data, video, and charging; a headphone jack; and a MicroSD card reader.
