Smartphones are quite famous among the gaming community and for this purpose, various companies are launching their gaming specific devices with stunning specs to enhance the gaming experience. Just recently, Honor Play was released in India with 4D gaming experience and it seems that Razer might be bringing forward the successor the popular Razer gaming smartphone.

Might be known as the Razer Phone 2, the Global Vice-president Chen Xiaoping revealed that the company might introduce a new Razer phone in China in few upcoming months. While he didn’t share any specifics about the phone nor its launch dates, we could expect the phone to arrive somewhere the same time span as it did in last year.

The previous Razer phone had Snapdragon 845 while we could expect the upcoming model to feature the 7nm Snapdragon 855 with a battery either equivalent or larger than 4000 mAh as it was present in the last year’s model. Likewise, with Razer phone last year had a 5.7-inch display with 120 times per second refresh rate while this year’s model might be packed better offerings in this regard as well. This level of refresh rate is packed in a high-end gaming monitor.

I appreciate the stance taken by Xiaomi in this case. It was last year itself that they had started offering a whopping 4100mAh for the Redmi Note 4.

I am actually expecting the new Razer Phone 2 to have a battery in excess of 4000mAh. Only then it will be a real successor in the true meaning.
