Sony Xperia XA3 Geekbench listing reveals Snapdragon 660 processor

16 August 2018 2

A Sony Xperia device with model number H4493 has been surfaced on Geekbench. The device spotted is likely to be the Xperia XA3 smartphone that will come with Snapdragon 660 processor. The Geekbench database listing reveals some other key details as well including Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

The Sony Xperia XA3 coming with Snapdragon 660 should definitely offer some boost over the XA2 that came up with Snapdragon 630 processor. The scores came up with this benchmark test aren’t too dramatic that could reflect an improvement over the older phones. The software could be the prime reason behind the scores as it may be in its early days.

The Xperia XA3 could include 6GB RAM that was only available in Xperia XA2’s top model. Other details on the Xperia XA3 are pretty scarce. The device first time spotted on the Eurasian website alongside another Xperia device. The model number spotted was H4413, but no information was revealed at that time. Later, a report came and suggested that the Sony Xperia XA3 could include a tall screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160x1080 pixels resolution.

There are no details on the launch and price of the device and the specs are pretty much scarce as well. So, let’s wait for more information to come.

Umm... I don't know in what respect could the software be the reason behind the improvement in scores. Both the XA2 and the XA3 run on Android Oreo.
