ZTE confirms Nubia Z18 launch on September 5 in a new teaser

Most of the details regarding ZTE Nubia Z18 in dark. So far we have seen the device in Geekbench listing, few hands-on images, and camera samples to showcase its low-light cameras prowess. Well, the good thing is the ZTE fans don't have to wait longer as the company officially confirmed the arrival of a new smartphone on September 5 in China.



The launch teaser showcases the device has minimal bezels around the corner like the Essential PH-1. The company CEO Ni Fei recently confirmed the arrival of a smartphone with Full screen 3.0 design and he also shared a few teasers of the device. The teaser showcases the device has a small notch at the top accompanying the selfie camera in the center.

The Z18 screen-to-body ratio will be even higher than the predecessor. Just for the sake of reminder, the Z17S screen-to-body ratio was 90.36%. The Geekbench listing suggests the Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC is powering the device with 6GB RAM. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1.

The device recently appeared at the TENNA certification which reveals design and key hardware specs in detail. As per TENAA listing, the device is featuring a 5.99-inches display with Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The base variant will have 6GB RAM with 64GB storage whereas the top-tier model will have 8GB RAM with 128GB storage.

Like most of the latest smartphone, the Nubia Z18 will have dual rear cameras. The primary camera sensor will be 24MP whereas the secondary camera will be 8MP. Up front, the selfie camera will be an 8MP sensor. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the rear side. A 3,350mAH battery cell will be on board to keep its lights on.
