Lenovo Yoga S730 with Intel's refreshed 8th-gen Core CPU launched

31 August 2018 4

Lenovo launched a plethora of new products at IFA 2018 in Berlin, including a new Chromebooks, Yoga Book. Alongside these new notebooks, Lenovo also launched a premium laptop – Yoga S730 for more price-conscious buyers.

The all-new Lenovo S730 is powered by Intel’s newly refreshed 8th gen Core CPUs. This means it is powered by the eighth generation Intel Core (Whiskey Lake) at i7 (i7-8565U or i5-8265U) processors. The company claims the laptop can deliver up to 10 hours of battery life and it also supports the quick charging. It also has the support of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos Speaker System.

The Yoga S730 falls more into the category of traditional laptops. Despite being the Yoga brand, the S730 can only be tilted to 180-degrees. This means the keyboard part can’t be tilted fully to touch the back side of the display and offer a tablet mode.

The Lenovo Yoga S730 features a 13.3-inch display with FullHD resolution. The RAM can be expanded to 16GB and the storage can go up to 2TB. It includes 3 USB-C ports (two of which with Thunderbolt interface).

It will go on sale in Europe in October, priced starting at €999.
