Sharp launches Aquos B10, C10 and D10 smartphones at IFA

At the IFA event not only PC manufacturers are unveiling new products but also the smartphone manufacturers are unveiling new products. We have seen a new device from BlackBerry, Sony and now the Japanese Sharp took the stage to announce three Aquos lineup smartphones. The company launched Aquos B10, C10, and D10 smartphones. The smallest amongst all have 5.5-inches display whereas the largest has 5.99-inches display.

Starting with the base model the Aquos B10 is an entry-level smartphone with 5.7-inches HD display. The display aspect ratio is 2:1 and the screen resolution is 720 x 1440 pixels. The MediaTek 6750T SoC is powering the device with 3GB RAM. However, the device native storage is 32GB which is further expandable via MicroSD. A 4,000mAh battery cell is on board to keep its lights on. The B10 comes with dual rear snappers, the primary sensor is 13MP with f/2.0 aperture whereas the secondary sensor is a wide-angle module of 8MP. The selfie camera is 13MP with f/2.2 aperture. As OS the B10 is pre-installed with Android Nougat 7.0.

The Aquos C10 is slightly better with a 5.5-inches display with Full HD+ screen resolution. The display screen-to-body ratio is 87.5%. The Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC is under the hood with 4GB RAM and the native storage is 64GB which can be expanded using MicroSD card. Unfortunately, it has the smallest 2,700mAh battery amongst all. On the rear side, you will get dual cameras, the primary sensor is 12MP with f/1.75 aperture whereas the secondary sensor is 8MP. Up front, the selfie camera is 8MP with f/2.0 aperture.

Last but not the least we have the Aquos D10 which is premium amongst all. The device features a 5.99-inches display panel with Full HD+ screen resolution. The device screen-to-body ratio is 91%. Sharp mentioned the device comes with FreeForm tech which allows the display to reproduce the same colors. So far this tech was exclusive to Sharp Aquos lineup TVs. The company also claims the dual rear cameras on the D10 performs extra-ordinary in low-light conditions as well. The Qualcomm's Snapdragon 630 chipset is on board with 4GB RAM.

The dual rear cameras are 12MP+13MP. Up front, the selfie sensor is a 16MP module. A 2,900mAh battery is on board to keep the D10 lights on. As far as availability and pricing is a concern, the company state the devices will be soon available for purchase in Europe but the exact release is still in dark. The B10 and C10 will be available for 299 Euros whereas the D10 is expensive amongst all at 399 Euros.
