Finally, the wait is over as the Chinese giant Vivo wraps off the cover from the much-awaited smartphone V11. The device is in rumors from past few weeks and today the company announced it officially. Despite being a mid-range it features the latest water droplet notch, 6.41-inches AMOLED display, and in-glass fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 SoC is powering the device at 2.2Ghz. It's definitely a big upgrade over the Snapdragon 626 SoC of the predecessor. The Octa-core SoC is accompanied with 6GB RAM and the Adreno 512 is on board as GPU. The device native storage is 128GB which is further expandable via a dedicated MicroSD card.
The 6.41-inches display screen resolution is Full HD+. It is the first mid-range in the market with an in-glass fingerprint scanner. Apart from the fingerprint scanner, it comes with facial recognition as a secondary security feature.
The V11 features dual rear cameras, the primary sensor is 12MP with f/1.8 aperture whereas the secondary sensor is 5MP with f/2.4 aperture. Its the same camera's setup we have seen on the recently announced X21 as well as the NEX S. Up front the selfie snapper is 25MP with f/2.0 aperture. All the cameras are AI tuned to enhance your capturing experience.
A 3,400mAh battery cell is on board to keep the V11 lights on. It also supports 18W quick charging. Unfortunately, it comes with Micro-USB port for connectivity. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1 based Funtouch 4.5. The company confirmed V11 arrival in several countries in Nebula and Starry Night colors. Vivo India is also holding a press event tomorrow, we can expect details regarding the pricing at the event.
