The Huawei's sub-brand Honor is amongst those OEMs who likes to remain in limelight with new announcements. As we are approaching towards the end of Q3, the company is now getting ready for the announcements in Q4 2018.
The company will kick off the October with a launch on 11th. The company rolled out a teaser poster which confirms Honor 8C announcement will be on Oct 11. Like most of the Chinese companies, Honor is going to introduce the Honor 8C as the successor model of Honor 7C which was announced back in March 2018.
The poster caption is “Charging Up” which hints despite being a budget-friendly smartphone the Honor 8C will support fast charging. Its good to see Honor bringing the premium phones feature to the budget-friendly segment as well.
The poster also allegedly showcases the front-facing design of the Honor 8C as well. Like most of the latest Honor phones, the Honor 8C has a notch at the top of the display. The side bezels are further trimmed from the edges as opposed to the predecessor.
Recently an Honor branded smartphone bearing model number BKK-TL00 appears at TENAA. The device is expected to be announced as Honor 8C. Unfortunately, the listing didn't include images so we can't confirm it. As per listing the BKK-TL00 sports a 6.23-inches display with HD+ screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The device dimensions are 158.72 × 75.94 × 7.98mm. An Octa-core SoC is powering the device with 4GB RAM and clocking at 1.8Ghz.
