Both Huawei and its subsidiary Honor are known for releasing new phones after every few weeks. Back in September Honor unveiled Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max and now Huawei took the stage to announce two new mid-range Enjoy series phones in China. Overall in terms of looks, the new Enjoy Max and Enjoy 9 Plus are not much different from the Honor 8X series, however, the new Enjoy phones bring changes under the hood. Starting with the Enjoy 9 Plus.
Following the latest trend, the Enjoy 9 Plus has metal chassis with glass covering the rear side. It features a 6.5-inches IPS LCD display with a full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. On the front, you will find a U-shaped notch whereas the rear has dual sensors aligned vertically on the top left corner.
Under the hood, the Kirin 710 SoC is powering the device. The base variant has 64GB storage and 4GB RAM whereas the top-tier model has 128GB storage with the same RAM. It supports memory expansion via MicroSD. The Enjoy 9 Plus dimensions are 162.4 x 77.1 x 8.05mm. As OS it is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1 with EMUI 8.2 layer over it. A 4,000mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on.
The primary sensor on the rear is a 13MP module with f/1.8 aperture whereas the secondary depth-sensing module is 2MP. The cameras are AI tuned by Huawei's own Algorithm. It can detect more than 500 scenes and objects automatically and then adjust camera settings accordingly. Up front you will get dual selfie snappers, the primary module is 16MP with f/2.0 aperture whereas the secondary sensor is 2MP. Just for the sake of reminder, the Honor 8X has a single 16MP module on the front.
Being a media-centric device the Enjoy 9 Plus comes with Histen 5.0 Audio to provide top-notch audio experience. The traditional fingerprint scanner is on the rear side. For connectivity, it has 3.5mm headphone jack, Micro-USB port and Bluetooth 5.0. As far as pricing is a concern the base model with 64GB storage can be purchased at 1,499 Yuan whereas the top-tier 128GB model is slightly expensive at 1,699 Yuan. The device is currently up for pre-orders in China, the base model will be released on Oct 20th whereas the top of the line model will hit shelves from Oct 25th. Both the devices are available in gradient Aurora Purple, Sapphire Blue, Magic Night Black, and Sakura Pink colors.

Huawei brought out the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max - two phones in the Max series last month and two more new phones in only a few weeks...
The Huawei Enjoy Max is a phablet actually. And it looks better out of these 4 phones. A screen with more than 7 inches, it's a huge one!
... in terms of screen size. But specs-wise, they are surely mid-range phones.
Yeah, when phones out so quick and fast, at the most, they can only be mid-rangers. But the battery for the phablet is excellent at 5,000mAh.
