31 October 2018 4

While the star of the show for Honor's event was the Magic 2 smartphone, it also took the opportunity to announce a new smartwatch named Watch Magic.

The Honor Watch Magic sports 1.2-inch AMOLED display with 390 x 390 pixels resolution and a round dial. This gives it an appearance resembling tradition watches which means you can wear it even to work. It is made up of metal and plastic with suitability for wrist size measuring 14 to 21 cm.

Under the hood, it has the ARM M4 chipset coupled with 16MB of RAM. There is 128MB of internal storage which will come in handy with all the apps and related data. It features Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and NFC connectivity options. Since it has native GPS support, you will not have to carry your smartphone everywhere with you, especially during those morning walks.

It is powered by a 178mAh battery claimed to last for up to 7 days on a single charge under "typical usage". It is water resistant up to 5ATM which means it can be taken out for your swimming sessions. Its dimensions measure 42.8 × 42.8 × 9.8mm and it weighs about 32.5 grams. It is compatible with any smartphone running Android 4.4 or higher but if you have an iOS device, make sure it is running iOS 9 or above.

There are two Honor Watch Magic variants Sports and Fashion priced at 899 Yuan and 999 Yuan respectively. It is already available for pre-orders with sales starting November 1st in China. In terms of color, one can choose from Lava Black or Moonlight Silver.
