Nubia Red Magic 2 gaming phone listed on Chinese crowdfunding site

ZTE’s brand Nubia has listed its new gaming phone, the Red Magic 2 on the crowdfunding site JD.com in China. The is a successor of Nubia’s Red Magic gaming phone which was also released as a part of a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo earlier this year.

The new phone can be ordered with the listing page on JD.com. It comes with flagship grade hardware specifications like Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, 10GB of RAM with both liquid and air-cooling technology to reduce the temperature of the device by approx 13.2 degrees during extended hours of gaming thus improving the device’s performance by 70%. The listing reveals that the phone can be bought for CNY 3888 or USD 560 approximately.

Apart from handful amount of RAM of 10 gigs, the phone comes with 256GB of built-in storage and runs on Android 9.0 Pie. There is a DTS 7.1 channel along with 3D surround sound for an immersive experience. The phone offers 4D gaming experience claims Nubia.

Like other gaming phones, the Red Magic 2 also comes with RGB LED lights at the back and also comes with two Magic touch buttons located at the side of the phone for a better gaming experience.

The current crowdfunding campaign has a target of CNY 1000000, however, Red Magic 2 has overachieved the target by 232% and has received CNY 2331540 already, way before the deadline of December 6th. This shows that gaming phones are in huge demand.

Nubia has not yet announced any overseas plans for the Red Magic 2 which is slated to be delivered to the backers in 30 days from the end of the campaign. Do let us know your thoughts of these Gaming phones.
