The Chinese giant Vivo is getting ready to announce another mid-range phone for the Indian market. The device is in rumors and leaks from the past few weeks. Today the device Geekbench listing appears online and also the devices promos and retail box reveals the device in full glory.
As per Geekbench listing, the Y95 appears as "Vivo 1807". The device is running on an Octa-core chipset with max clocking at 1.96Ghz. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1. The chipset is accompanied with 4GB RAM. Considering the clocking speed the chipset most likely will be Snapdragon 439 chipset. The company recently announced Y93 for the Chinese market at the same price tag.
The retail box also leaked online ahead of the official announcement which confirms few key specs details. The Y95 comes with a 6.22-inches display panel with a notch at the top of the display. The selfie snapper is 20MP with AI goodies. A 4,030mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. The model number on the retail box is exactly the same like the Geekbench listing. The device has 64GB native storage. Last but not the least the retail box confirms it will be available in Starry Black color.
The promos also reveal that most of the specs of Y95 are exactly similar to the Y93. The chances are high the company will rebrand Y93 as Y95 for the Indian market. The continuous stream of rumors and leaks indicates the Y95 announcement isn't far away.
