The Indian smartphone is currently lead by Xiaomi with its budget-friendly phones. To enter in the budget-friendly flagships market, the company debut a new Poco brand couple of months ago. The first Poco phone was introduced as F1. It was the cheapest Snapdragon 845 driven flagship phone. The top of the line variant comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at a price tag of INR 28,999.
For those who want something different, Poco also introduced special Armored Edition F1 with Kevlar rear to give it a premium look as opposed to the standard model. The company only brings the special edition 256GB model at a price tag of INR 29,999. As per the latest info, the company is now getting ready to introduce two more Armored edition variants.
The new Armored variant will have 6GB RAM with either 64GB or 128GB built-in storage. At the moment both these models are available with a polycarbonate body. So far we are still in the dark what will be the pricing of these Armored variants. The 256GB variant was INR 1000 more expensive than the regular model. So there are fair chances the company could bring new variants at INR 1000 more as opposed to standard variants.
Just for the sake of reminder, the Poco F1 is featuring a 6.18-inches display. Its an IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and the aspect ratio is 18.7:9. The primary snapper on the rear is 12MP whereas the secondary sensor is 5MP. The front-facing selfie snapper is 20MP. The fingerprint scanner is on the rear side. A 4,000mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on, it also supports Quick Charge 4.0. You can grab Poco F1 in three exciting colors including Steel Blue, Graphite Black, and Rosso Red.
