Sony took the stage at the IFA 2018 to announce Xperia XZ3. Despite the fact, the device isn't much old but the rumors already started swirling regarding its successor Xperia XZ4. As per latest leak, the Sony Xperia XZ4 will be announced at the MWC 2019. Last week we have the first alleged 3D CAD renders of Xperia XZ4. Today we have new info regarding the device hardware specs from a reliable Chinese tipster.
The tipster claims the Xperia XZ4 will be featuring a 6.55-inches display with an aspect ratio of 21:9. He also stated LG could be the source of the display panel. Under the hood, the device will have the Snapdragon 855 chipset. The 7nm chipset will be accompanied with 6GB RAM. The base variant will have 64GB storage whereas the top-tier model will have 256GB storage.
Up front, you will get super wide-angle sensor but the exact megapixels is still in the dark. The XZ4 is rumored to be the company's first phone with triple rear cameras but we would recommend to take it with a grain of salt as nothing is from the official sources. If the XZ4 has a triple sensor on the rear it will certainly have much better-capturing capabilities than its predecessor.
Recent CAD renders suggest the XZ4 won't have 3.5mm headphone jack but the tipster claims the device will feature the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is expected with a fingerprint scanner mounted on the right edge.
