So far the CES 2019 is full of new 2-in-1 laptops, notebooks, PCs, OLEDs but that won't stop Jabra from unveiling new headphones. Last year Jabra announced Elite 65t at the CES show, this year the company brought a new Elite 85h. The latest headphones come with Active noise-cancellation and hands-free access to AI Assistants.
Usually, the latest headphones with Active noise cancellation comes with adaptive sound as well, same is the case with the Elite 85h. The Adaptive sound helps the headphones better adjust with the surrounding environment. The Elite 85h comes with three modes to adjust with surrounding noise including In Public, Private and Commute. If you move from one scenario (public) to the other (private) the headphones with adjusting audio automatically. If you want more control over the sound, the Sound+ app from Jabra allows you to better control audio setup.
Apart from having noise cancellation feature, the Elite 85h allows you to access Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant wirelessly without touching it. Usually, if you have to access any of AI Assistant using headphone, you have to press a button but that's not the case with the latest headphones from Jabra. You just need to say specific wake word and it will access your favorite Assistant. The company claims Elite 85h is the only headphone which can access Alexa wirelessly.
The company claims the headphones can survive up to 35 hours if the Active noise cancellation is switched off whereas the if the ANC is activated it lasts 32 hours. It is expected to be released in April this year with a price tag of $299.
For those who don't want to spend a hefty amount on the Elite 85h, the company also launched an updated Move on-ear headphones which last 14 hours on single charge. The new Move on-ear headphones are expected to be available later this month at $99.
