After a long streak of rumors and leaks, the Chinese giant recently unveiled their first 48MP camera phone as Redmi Note 7. Now ahead of the official release the company releases a new promo video which showcases the display strength. The Redmi Note 7 display smashed the Walnut. As expected the display remains intact. The Redmi Note 7 display is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It isn't surprising considering the Redmi Note 7 falls in the mid-range category.
In terms of hardware specs, the Redmi Note 7 is featuring a 6.3-inches display with Full HD+ screen resolution. Like most of the latest phones, it comes with a waterdrop notch. The display aspect ratio is 18.5:9. Under the hood the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 SoC is powering the device with a max clocking speed of 2.2Ghz. The base variant has 3GB RAM with 32GB storage whereas the top-tier variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Both the variants support memory expansion via MicroSD.
The dual rear cameras are 48MP+5MP. Up front the selfie snapper is 13MP. A 4,000mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. If you pay 10 Yuan more, you will get 18W fast charger straight out of the box. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie with MIUI 10 straight out of the box.
