The Japanese giant Sony recently confirmed their press event at the MWC 2019. At the event, the company is expected to announce mid-rangers including Xperia XA3 series and Xperia L3. Apart from the mid-rangers, a new flagship smartphone is also expected. The device is expected to be announced as Xperia XZ4.
So far we had seen the only protective film or Olixar cases, today the first original image Xperia XZ4 appeared online shared by MySmartPrice. The leaked home screen image gives us a pretty good view regarding the front-facing design of Xperia XZ4.
As rumored earlier the Xperia XZ4 is featuring an ultra-long display. The leaked image also indicates the Xperia XZ4 display aspect ratio will be 21:9 which makes it significantly taller than the traditional smartphones in the market. The home screen screenshot confirms it is running on the latest Android Pie.
Another prominent aspect of the UI is the side sensor sidebar like its predecessor. This sensor is quite useful while using the giant display phone single handidly. Despite having ultra taller aspect ratio it still has prominent bezel at the top. The Xperia XZ4 is expected to have dual pixel selfie camera.
From what we heard so far the Xperia XZ4 will be featuring a 6.5-inches OLED display with Quad HD+ screen resolution. Last year Sony unveiled the XZ2 Premium as their first smartphone with dual rear cameras, now we heard rumors the XZ4 will be the company's first smartphone with triple rear cameras.
Unfortunately the rear side images of XZ4 yet not leaked, so we can't confirm whether it will have triple rear sensors or not? The good thing is Sony fans don't have to wait as the company will be holding a press event in Barcelona. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
