Lenovo Phab 3 allegedly clears FCC with gigantic 5,180mAh battery

25 January 2019 2

From the look of the things the Chinese giant smartphones manufacturer, Lenovo is gearing to announce a new tablet device. Today a new Lenovo phone bearing model numbers PB-6505M and PB-6505MC appeared at the FCC listing. Most likely the device could be announced as the third iteration of the Lenovo Phab series.

As expected the FCC listing does only reveal detail regarding the dimensions and battery cell of the upcoming device. As per the listing, the PB-6505M dimensions are 178mm x 86mm x 198mm. This indicates the upcoming Lenovo device will have a display above 7-inches. It is packed with a fairly large battery cell of 5,180mAh. In terms of connectivity, it comes with dual-band WiFi support.

The device sketches suggest it has a single snapper on the rear with LED flashlight. The fingerprint scanner is also on the rear side. Although the device is referred to as a tablet but still it is expected to be a Lenovo phab device because the predecessors were also packed with gigantic batteries and display panels.

Just for the sake of reminder, the original Lenovo Phab was announced in 2015 with a gigantic display of 6.98-inches. It was light up by a 4,250mAh battery. The device model number was PB1-750M. The Lenovo Phabe 2 Pro was the second-gen announced in 2016. It was featuring a 6.4-inches display and 4,050mAh battery cell.

Unfortunately, the company didn't reveal any new Phab lineup phone in 2017. That's why the chances are high the new PB series phone could be Phab 3. As nothing is from the official sources that's why we will recommend taking the info with a grain of salt. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
