Vivo’s flagship phone the Vivo NEX was recently discontinued in India and it was rumored that this is being done to make way for another device with a pop-up selfie camera. The company has now announced it officially that the next Vivo phone with a pop-up selfie camera would be launched in India on February 20.
The company has today send out media invites for an upcoming device rumored to be the Vivo V15 pro, a successor to the Vivo V11 Pro launched last year. The invite sent by the company highlights the pop-up selfie camera and a rectangular bezel-less display.
Like any upcoming device, even the Vivo V15 Pro has been ‘leaked’ by various sources and it seems that the company is bringing the new technology to even lesser budget than Vivo NEX. Leaks suggest that the upcoming phone may come with a triple rear camera set up while on the front there would be the periscope-like pop-up camera.
The leaked protective case leaked earlier also suggested that the phone may come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, like the Vivo V11 Pro. There is no information yet regarding the pricing of the upcoming phone, however, going by the trend that phone could be priced around Rs. 30,000
