Sony's MWC 2019 keynote just got over where the star of the show was Xperia 1 flagship along with Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus mid-range smartphones. But the company also unveiled an entry-level smartphone named Xperia L3 for those who are on a tight budget or don't want to spend a lot of money on their next purchase.
The Xperia L3 sports 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Even though the display features 18:9 aspect ratio, Sony has opted for significantly larger top and bottom bezels in terms of design. This is something we are used to seeing from Sony but, hopefully, things might change in the future.
Under the hood, there is MediaTek MT6762 aka Helio P22 processor with no words on the RAM and storage capacity. In the camera department, there is a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual camera setup on the back. It also supports the Bokeh effect which will help in clicking photos with background blur. It features an 8-megapixel front camera with portrait selfie mode. There are also beauty effects, Soft skin, Skin brightness, and Sharp face modes for enhanced selfies.
The whole package is powered by a 3,300mAh battery with Xperia Adaptive Charging. It will be running Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box for some reason and there are no words on Android Pie upgrade either. It has been released in Silver, Gold, and Black color variants. The details regarding pricing and availability are also scarce for now as well.
