Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro smartphones are finally official after much hype. The main highlight of the Note 7 Pro phone is a massive 48MP primary AI camera sensor on the rear. Both the phones have AI-powered dual rear cameras and a massive 4,000mAH battery. The selfie cameras of both devices both include the face unlock and some AI scene detection feature as well.
The Redmi Note 7 is powered by Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 2.2GHz and is coupled 3GB/4GB RAM depending upon the variant you choose. This configuration is accompanied by 32GB and 64GB storage simultaneously. It features a 12MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor on the rear accompanied by an AI scene detection feature. It houses a massive 4,000mAH battery and has Type-C charging port and also includes the 3.5mm headphone jack as well. As other Xiaomi phones, the Redmi Note 7 also includes IR blaster so that you could control your electronic appliances remotely.
The Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and protected by Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It holds a dot-like notch which accommodates the 13MP AI front camera which comes with AI portrait mode, AI scene detection, AI face unlock like features.
Coming to the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the device features a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The smartphone comes with the dot notch design, has 2.5D curved glass design on both front and back and offers two modes – Sunlight Display and Reading Mode. It’s powered by Snapdragon 675 processor paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage with an ability to expand the storage further using a microSD card. Like the Redmi Note 7, the Pro version also includes the 4,000mAH battery and comes with fast charging with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 option.
The highlight of the phone is a 48MP main camera on the rear that comes with Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.79 aperture and the company claims the camera is capable of taking brighter images. The smartphone also comes with the AI scene detection and AI portrait 2.0 and the company claims the phone is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps as well. The primary sensor is accompanied by a 5MP secondary sensor and it has a 13MP front camera for selfies with AI scene detection, Studio lighting selfie like features. The front camera also supports the AI face unlock functionality.
The price of the Redmi Note 7 3GB/32GB is Rs. 9,999; the 4GB/64GB costs Rs. 11,999. It will go on sale on mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi Home on March 6th at 12 noon.
