Vivo iQOO goes official with Snapdragon 855 SoC and 12GB RAM

Finally, the wait is over as the Vivo sub-brand iQ00 wraps off the cover from the first flagship smartphone. The first flagship comes with premium build quality. Like most of the latest phones, the Vivo iQOO has dewdrop notch at the top of the display with thin bezel at the bottom.

The rear side has triple rear cameras aligned vertically on the top left corner with LED flashlight below it. The iQOO is on the bottom left corner. It will be the company's first flagship of this year.

In terms of features the iQ00 sports a 6.41-inches AMOLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display screen-to-body ratio is 91.7%. Under the hood the Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Adreno 640 is taking care of graphics. The device will be available in four configurations including 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB/ 256GB storage. The top of the line variant is 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie with FunTouch skin over it. The iQ00 has triple rear cameras of 13MP + wide-angle 12MP sensor and a depth-sensing module of 2MP. Up front the selfie snapper is 12MP. A 4,000mAH battery is on board to keep its lights on. The base model comes with 22.5W fast charger whereas the top of the line variants has 44W Super Flash Charge.

The device recharges up to 50% in just 15 minutes whereas it requires 30 minutes more to reach 100%. For connectivity, the device has Type-C port. The base model with 6GB RAM will be available at RMB 2,998. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage will be available at RMB 3,298 whereas the 256GB model is slightly expensive at RMB 3,598. The top of the line model with 12GB RAM will cost you RMB 4,298.

In terms of colors option the iQ00 128GB storage will be available in Lava Orange and Electro-Optic Blue whereas the other premium variant will be available in Electro-Optic hue.
